On February 14, 2025, a gala reception was held at the Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the Republic of Belarus on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star (the birthday of the Great Leader Kim Jong Il).

The gala reception was attended by the Head of the Belarusian Executive Committee of the International Solidarity Group with the DPRK Klim Belsky and his deputy Dmitry Matayev.

At the beginning, all participants of the gala reception on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star laid flowers and paid tribute to the memory and respect of the portraits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. The national anthems of the two countries, the Republic of Belarus and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, were played.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, the House of Representatives of the Republic of Belarus, prominent public figures of Belarus, as well as representatives of the Coordination Council "UNITY" of left-patriotic forces of Belarus.
