— 9th (1st Extraordinary) Organizing Conference: Seventh Day —

President Kim Il Sung once said:

“Only when the popular masses unite and cooperate with one another can they become the most powerful force, capable of transforming and remaking the world.”

On May 20, as part of the seventh day of the 9th Organizing Conference of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG), the first meeting of the newly reconstituted Belarusian Executive Committee was held.

The following comrades were present:

• Alexander Andreevich Mostov (Head of the DPRK ISG)
• Irina Alexandrovna Malyuk (Head of the Executive Committee)
• Vitaly Sergeevich Shershen
• Danila Valeryevich Mikhalko
• Adam Sergeevich Mozol
• Fyodor Viktorovich Chorny
• Vladislav Eduardovich Zasukhin

At the meeting, the experience of the previous Executive Committee was thoroughly analyzed, along with the serious mistakes that led to its dissolution. Following the discussion, Comrade Irina Malyuk was unanimously elected as the new Head of the Belarusian Solidarity Group with the DPRK.

It was affirmed that the Group’s activities must no longer be limited to the formal holding of online events on commemorative dates and other ceremonial functions. Moving forward, the focus will be on the development of cultural and scientific exchange at the level of people’s diplomacy, as well as support in select areas of business that hold mutual interest for Korea and Belarus. In addition, there are plans to actively support student initiatives to establish friendship clubs and academic programs dedicated to the study of the DPRK in Belarusian universities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a courtesy call was held with Comrade Kim Chang Son, Advisor to the Ambassador of the DPRK to the Republic of Belarus.
