From September 17 to October 30, on the initiative of the Russian Executive Committee of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG), a series of events successfully took place, dedicated to the significant date - the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea. The key element was film screenings of a documentary about the Kursk Liberation Operation by the DPRK Armed Forces, during which the faithful sons of the party demonstrated unprecedented selflessness in history in the fight against neo-Nazi invaders, thereby once again demonstrating the superiority of communist ideology.

The events were organized with the participation of city committees of the CPRF and the Leninist Communist Youth Union of the Russian Federation, as well as educational institutions - the University of World Civilizations, Sergiev Posad Socio-Economic Technical School, Chelyabinsk State University, Smolensk State University and other organizations.

Comrade Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea, in his address to the activists, emphasized the historical significance of the feat of the Korean warriors:

"Dear activist comrades! Respected students and teachers! Members of youth and humanitarian organizations!

In these bright days, when we proudly mark the 80th anniversary of the great Workers' Party of Korea, we must turn to the glorious pages of its immortal history. This anniversary is given special significance by the feat of the sons and daughters of the party, selflessly fulfilling their international duty in the Kursk region with weapons in their hands.

The soldiers of the KPA, carrying out the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, demonstrated the highest heroism and selflessness. They fought on Russian soil as if it were their own, delivering crushing blows to neo-Nazi formations and making a decisive contribution to driving the enemy from the occupied territories. Their feat is a new glorious page in the annals of anti-imperialist struggle, which we must remember and honor.

The self-sacrifice of the soldiers of the People's Army, illuminated by the light of boundless devotion to the Motherland and communist ideals, will forever remain a guiding star for all of us!"

The solemn program opened on September 17 with a meeting at the Russian-Korean friendship club at the Moscow University of World Civilizations, where primary cell secretary Anna Zorich conducted a briefing for students on the history and political structure of the DPRK, after which the first film screening was held. The event was attended by Chairman of the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK Comrade Viktor Petrov and Deputy Head of the Department of World Politics and Intercivilizational Development of UWC Comrade Andrei Romanov.

Then on September 21 and other days, the exhibition of Korean art "The Country of the Great People" was visited by hundreds of activists of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG) from different regions, including Head of the North American Executive Committee Comrade Christopher Helali, Regional Secretary in Canada Comrade Nicholas Reed and Media Relations Advisor Comrade Don Courter.

On October 9, Security Secretary Comrade Ivan Kozlov organized a film screening for activists of the Moscow city committees of the CPRF and the LCYU, evoking deep feelings of gratitude among Moscow communists. In his speech, Comrade Kozlov noted the importance of the Korean experience for the Russian communist party and Komsomol at the present stage, expressing sincere admiration for the feats of the true internationalist warriors - soldiers of the DPRK Armed Forces.

On October 10, the anniversary day of the WPK, as part of a lecture for first-year students of Chelyabinsk State University, activist Darya Shchegoleva spoke about genuine patriotism and self-sacrifice. And the Head of the Friendship Club with the DPRK Comrade Evgenia Olskaya, with tears in her eyes, emphasized:

"The Korean people and government support the Russian Federation in every possible way to resist imperialist states and their satellites. Socialist Korea is ready to fight against imperialism and fascism side by side with Russia, and also considers it extremely important to help our country defend its sovereignty and integrity and achieve victory in this important struggle. Thus, having common values and goals, working for the benefit of their countries and helping each other, Russian-Korean friendship is rapidly strengthening.

Thanks to the diligent work of the Workers' Party of Korea, the united people of the DPRK, with a sense of devotion and pride for their Motherland, are ready to join forces with allies to achieve common good. This is felt especially strongly in our time on the front, where recently soldiers of the Korean People's Army together with our soldiers repelled an enemy attack on the Kursk region. Ordinary Korean young people performed incredible feats, sacrificed themselves, fighting for common values, and protected our people and our country as their own!"

A highlight was the major event at the Sergiev Posad Socio-Economic Technical School on October 11. The solemn meeting was opened by the Head of the local friendship club Comrade Georgy Dmitriev. Activists delivered reports highlighting the role of the WPK and dispelling myths about the DPRK. After the screening of the documentary, which concluded with a sorrowful list of fallen heroes, activist of the "Movement of the First" Alexey Lezin presented a historical reference. The event concluded with the transfer of aid materials for the front - helmet liners and camouflage nets made by our activists - and a report on the DPRK's missile program.

And on October 25, another meeting was held in Chelyabinsk under the guidance of Comrade Olskaya, beginning with her report on the history of the Workers' Party of Korea. After the report, the documentary film was shown to guest activists from older courses, sparking a lively discussion about the heroism of the DPRK warriors.

The program concluded with a lecture on the DPRK constitution, delivered on October 30 at Smolensk State University by the Head of the local club Comrade Artyom Agafonov. The students showed keen interest, asking numerous questions about the Juche ideology and the structure of Korean society.

The work carried out by the Russian Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG demonstrated the sincere sympathy of the Russian people for the DPRK. The feat of the sons of the Workers' Party of Korea on the battlefields is forever inscribed in the history of Russian-Korean brotherhood and will be passed down from generation to generation.
