On May 29, the Korean Committee for Solidarity with the Peoples of the World sent the following message to the activists of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG).
Recently, the aggressive military exercises of the US and South Korea have been more dangerous and carried out in the open.
Since May 25, the United States and South Korea have been conducting the largest ever so-called "joint joint fire drills for destruction" in the territory near the military demarcation line.
Joint military exercises conducted by the US and South Korea are making the situation on the Korean Peninsula and the surrounding area more unstable.
The current exercises are aggressive military exercises containing the nefarious intention of strangling our Republic by military means, and not just ordinary exercises of military units.
In this regard, on May 29, the KCNA published a commentary exposing the dangers of the current aggressive military exercises.
Detailed full content can be found on the KCNA website.
We hope that you, who love justice and peace, have a correct understanding of the development of the current situation on the Korean Peninsula and continue, as in the past, to provide unwavering support and solidarity in the struggle of our people for the sovereignty of the country, ensuring peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula, in region and throughout the world.
