On September 5, Vitaly Lebedev, head of the DPRK Solidarity Group with his deputy Alexander Mostov, attended various celebrations in Moscow.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, a solemn reception was held at the DPRK Embassy. At the invitation of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the DPRK to the Russian Federation, comrade Kim Hyun Joong, friends of Korea from all over the world participated in the event, including representatives of our organization.

The whole reception was held in a traditional friendly atmosphere. According to the DPRK ambassador, comrade Kim Hyun Joong, Korea intends to continue to faithfully fulfill the conditions of the Joint Statement following the talks between the leaders of the United States and the DPRK. He emphasized that the United States should finally reciprocate the goodwill of the DPRK and continue on the path of strengthening mutual trust for the sake of peace in the region.

After the reception at the DPRK embassy, ​​comrade Lebedev and comrade Mostov together visited the Forum of Left Forces, where they met with various leaders and established contacts.
