President KIM IL SUNG's Birth Anniversary Commemorated in Russia

A celebration meeting of the Russian government, political parties and organizations took place in Moscow on April 13 on the occasion of the 110th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the DPRK ISG, Vitaly Lebedev, Advisor to the Russian Executive Committee, and Konstantin Asmolov, Leading Researcher at the Center for Korean Studies (IFES RAS) laid bouquets of flowers at the art piece depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Present there were personages of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Duma, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Party for Peace and Unity, the National Salvation Front, the Communist Party "Russian Communists", the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, the Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Korean War Veterans' Council, the "Orchestra of the 21st Century" and the Academy Ensemble of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.

The DPRK ambassador to Russia and his embassy members were also present.

The Korean club "우리는 하나" of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation gave a concert on the occasion of the 110th Day of the Sun.

The participants of the concert, led by Kim Yong Ju, performed in front of photographic portraits of the Great Leaders of the Korean people. “Song About the General”, “Let's Pray for Parents”, “Zazdravnaya”, “Mother” and “Our Mother” were performed.

After seeing photos of the President Kim Il Sung, the Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and pictures showing the appearance of the developing socialist Korea on display, they watched a Korean film showing the President's noble sense of comradely obligation.

Speeches were made at the meeting.
