Ukrainian Propaganda Tried to Set Koreans and Chechens

We publish a commentary by Stas Vasiliev, Director of the 3rd Information Department of the DPRK ISG, on the Solovyov Live TV channel on November 7. It exposes a dangerous anti-republican fake from the Center for Information and Psychological Operations of Ukraine.

The text of the comment follows below.

I have encountered deepfakes many times before, but this is the first time I have seen such subtle work... What is the essence? Ukrainian and opposition Belarusian media have leaked a fake recording of a Solovyov Live broadcast, in which Chechen commander Apti Alaudinov insults soldiers of the Korean People's Army in every possible way and categorically refuses to interact with them on the battlefield.

Personally, I immediately had questions about this leak. As a person "a little" familiar with geopolitics, I know well about the cooperation of the DPRK with Iran, Pakistan, Lebanon and many other states of the Islamic world. I will not even mention Palestine: Korea has never recognized Israel, almost every issue of the "international panorama" on this country's television has reports from the Gaza Strip.

And what about Chechnya? It is also interested in cooperation with the DPRK. Ramzan Akhmatovich, for example, publicly thanked the war correspondent of the "Red Star", who was with the "Akhmat" regiment in Lisichansk shortly before the recognition of the DPR and LPR by the Korean side. Then he, together with a representative of the Korean Radio, was invited to Grozny - the head of Chechnya sincerely accepted the gift from the DPRK, and in general, during the entire time of interaction, no "religious disputes" arose.

So where did this "recording" come from? If you look closely, you can notice its low resolution - this was done intentionally, so that the image distortions from deepfake are not so noticeable. So you should always pay attention to the image quality - the worse it is, the greater the likelihood of a fake.

It seems that through such a fake, Ukrainian propagandists tried to sow discord between our peoples. Another noticeable attempt to frame Solovyov himself is the fake broadcast, which shows a photograph that has nothing to do with reality, where a soldier with a Korean chevron is sitting next to a Koran lying on the ground. Apparently, this is due to the fact that two days ago the DPRK accredited our representative in Pyongyang so that we could receive exclusive news directly from the country.

All these rumors are, of course, very stupid and funny. It's just a pity that many Russian Telegram channels and news publics have spread this nonsense to the masses. As the saying goes, "there is no worse enemy than an idiot ally."
