The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, Arrived in Beijing, the Capital of the People’s Republic of China

 

 

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, arrived in Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China, by special train on the afternoon of September 2 to attend the commemorative event for the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War and the World Anti-Fascist War.

Beijing was filled with the warmest feelings of friendship and an enthusiastic welcoming atmosphere as it greeted the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who is visiting the People's Republic of China with sentiments of friendship towards the Chinese people.

Honor guards of the Chinese People's Liberation Army were lined up inside Beijing Station.

Present at the station to greet Comrade Kim Jong Un were Cai Qi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Secretary of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee; Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Yin Yong, the Mayor of Beijing; other officials from the Chinese party and government; and Wang Yajun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Korea.

Also present were Ri Ryong Nam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Korea to the People's Republic of China, and embassy staff.

Comrade Kim Jong Un alighted from the special train, met with leading officials of the Chinese party and government, and exchanged warm greetings.

The Chinese leading officials who came to greet him warmly welcomed Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Comrade Kim Jong Un said that he was pleased to be visiting the People's Republic of China again after six years and expressed his gratitude for the enthusiastic and heartfelt welcome from the Chinese party, government, and people, including Comrade Xi Jinping.

In response to the Party's policy on local development, the construction sites are being renewed differently from yesterday to today and from morning to evening by the dedicated efforts of the officers and men of the Korean People's Army Unit 124, who are trying to build local industrial factories in 20 cities and counties this year into excellent creations that will be flawless even in the distant future.

Concentrate All Efforts on Improving the Quality of Construction

The 20×10 Local Development Non-Permanent National Defense Commission Command is grasping the improvement of the quality of construction as the basis, in line with the high revolutionary enthusiasm of the military builders, and is innovatively organizing and deploying operations and command for its implementation.

The officials of the National Defense Commission Command are prioritizing ideological work to firmly instill in the officers and men the view that the most important thing in construction is quality assurance, and are taking thorough pre-emptive measures to prevent even minor deviations in ensuring the quality of construction.

The struggle to improve quality is intensifying day by day in all construction sites as construction achievements such as exterior wall tiling and artificial stone polishing are expanding.

The officers and men of the Korean People's Army Unit 124, dispatched to Paechon County and Hwangju County, are achieving daily results in exterior wall tiling work.

The commanders of each unit are responsibly carrying out on-site command to ensure the quality of construction meets the design requirements from the initial stages of construction.

The military builders are progressing all target construction at a high level of quality, strictly adhering to the construction standards and regulations for each process.

The Korean People's Army Unit 124, responsible for the construction of local industrial factories in Jangyon County and Goksan County, is selecting model units for each process and meaningfully conducting demonstration projects, enabling each detachment to establish a clear direction for improving the quality of construction prior to organizing work.

At the same time, they are steadily pushing forward with the work of staffing the exterior wall tiling and artificial stone polishing workforces with highly skilled soldiers and generalizing their experiences.

The Korean People's Army Unit 124, dispatched to Kangdong County and Janggang County, is accurately assigning tasks to the commanders in charge of construction supervision, tightly grasping and summarizing, and constantly raising the requirements for construction.

On the other hand, they are thoroughly establishing a quality inspection system to ensure that all officers and men perfectly guarantee the technical indicators for each process and are making it a habit to move on to the next work process.

The officers and men of the Korean People's Army Unit 124, responsible for the construction of local industrial factories in Kim Jong Suk County and Sinpo City, are making strenuous efforts to thoroughly adhere to technical regulations and construction method requirements every day and every hour, and are fiercely launching daring continuous offensive battles.

The military builders of the Korean People's Army Unit 124, dispatched to various cities and counties including Bukchang County, Rangrim County, and Ryonggang County, are also actively utilizing self-made efficient construction tools to ensure the quality of construction.

The commanders and military builders here are actively adopting rational construction methods that can save construction materials while satisfying the quality requirements of construction, thereby significantly shortening the working hours for each process compared to before.

The officers and men of the Korean People's Army Unit 124, responsible for the construction of local industrial factories in Sinyang County and Daegwan County, are reliably ensuring the perfection of construction by putting primary emphasis on realizing the specialization of work for each process and introducing efficient construction methods.

The units are achieving remarkable results in exterior wall tiling work by steadily promoting the project to transfer the quality improvement experiences and technologies created in battalions and companies to other detachments with correct methodologies.

The fiery enthusiasm to conspicuously raise the actual achievements of local rejuvenation while flying the chronicle of glory is also overflowing in the construction sites where the Korean People's Army Unit 124, dispatched to Chorwon County and Sepo County, is waging a fierce struggle.

The military builders are exploring and introducing rational construction methods and transferring good results and experiences to battalions and companies, devoting their utmost sincerity to the construction of local industrial factories undertaken by the unit.
