The Ideological Root of Administration in Lieu

For all sectors and all units to advance vigorously, administrative officials must fulfill their responsibility and role. Here, one important problem is to thoroughly overcome the administration in lieu that appears among some party officials.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said as follows:

"We must regard as an inviolable iron rule to break such phenomena as engrossment in economic practices and administration in lieu and to solve all problems arising in revolution and construction thoroughly by the party method, the political method of mobilizing the mental strength of officials, party members, and working people."

Administration in lieu is a wrong working method where party officials push aside administrative economic officials and arbitrarize or interfere in administrative economic work. If party officials, who should do party work and work with people, do administration in lieu, administrative economic officials abandon their standpoint and attitude as masters and do not work giving play to creativity. Administration in lieu is precisely a harmful working method that puts a brake on the development of the relevant sector and unit.

Often, party officials who do administration in lieu have their own "justification."
