We Will Surely Conquer the Unprecedented Production Goal

This year, our mine must monthly exceed last year’s coal production plan while striving for an unprecedented output target.

Facing this challenge, we reflected on the pioneers of the socialist patriotic coal production movement, whose spirit negated limits.

Adverse conditions matter little. Like them, we are determined to produce more coal to steadfastly support our mother Party and contribute to the nation’s prosperity.

With this resolve, we focused all work on unleashing the masses’ spiritual strength. Heated discussions at face-to-face Party meetings and frontline agitation inspired everyone to dig even a handful more coal.

The "extra shift" and "helping the next shift" movements gained substance, and innovative ideas improved tunneling, extraction, and transport.

In this half-year, collectivism shone brighter than ever, and our mine proposed the most technical innovations in the complex. We have now secured a firm prospect to achieve the production target ahead of the sacred October 10, the Party’s 80th founding anniversary.

Though burdened, we feel no weight, for we willingly shoulder this load for the Party and motherland.

Our resolve is firm to present loyal labor gifts to the 9th Party Congress by conquering the production goal ahead of schedule.

Creating Proud Self-Reliant Achievements

Our workshop now produces efficient equipment that lowers unit consumption while significantly raising productivity.

The economic benefits are substantial, but we rejoice more in the hundredfold confidence that our own strength and technology can open paths of creation and innovation.

Self-reliance, the revolutionary spirit that sounded the first note of power production, has been our working class’s unchanging struggle spirit and essence through decades and centuries, always delivering victory reports to the mother Party.

The first self-reliance base in the great power complex emerged in the 1980s. Then, the Bukchang working class set high goals to produce essential repair materials domestically, contributing to the nation’s prosperity. By the Party’s 40th founding anniversary, the base produced many materials for equipment repairs.

Now it is our turn. In this meaningful year of the Party’s 80th anniversary, we strive to create more self-reliant achievements for the Party Congress.

Conditions are tough, goals vast. But recalling the Great General Kim Jong Il’s praise during the Arduous March for maintaining self-reliance bases and producing equipment and materials to conduct the Taean Line repairs, our resolve hardens.

We will race forward along the self-reliance path, proudly greeting the glorious Party Congress.

To Be Remembered for Ages

Having participated in capital construction from Songhwa Street to the 50,000-household project, I feel profound emotion seeing the modern architectural groups transforming Pyongyang’s appearance.

The days of racing against time, marked by miraculous feats and completion cheers, deepen my pride as a builder.

But today, as the nation boils with production and creation struggles for the 9th Party Congress, every moment must be a second of innovation and feats.

What is our greatest gift to the Congress?

It is constructing each building as a flawless symbol of our era, worthy of posterity’s memory.

Speed competitions are alien to our revolutionary mass movement. Despite vast tasks and tight schedules, we will never compromise quality.

The Hwaseong district’s structures, embodiments of the people-first policy and symbols of our advancing cause toward a powerful nation, will be built splendidly to be remembered for ages.

This is our capital builders’ oath of loyalty to the Party and revolution.

Only Policy Experts Can Surpass Limits

Our factory now achieves remarkable results in production normalization, new product development, and quality improvement.

Most proudly, we have transcended the limits of our building materials sector, producing items demanded by various fields at will.

When tasked with producing high-quality lacquer, initial doubts faded with success.

I told skeptics: "Follow Party policy, and nothing is impossible. The powerful force to surpass limits lies in Party policy itself."

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Our Party’s policies accurately reflect the people’s aspirations and clearly outline the direction and methods to swiftly provide them with a happy life."

Previously, we were content fulfilling assigned plans and improving product quality. Though we pursued scientific advancement, we lacked firm resolve and clear goals, merely putting out fires.

Studying the 8th Plenum’s call to transcend individual and unit limits, I pondered deeply.

Resting on small achievements today is regression. Only by challenging limits can we stand proudly before the motherland.

We then thoroughly researched Party policy to design the factory’s future.

From the policy of integrating science and technology with production, we grasped the seed of "academization." Proposing academic activities like thesis writing for our non-research factory initially drew skepticism.

When planning high-performance experimental equipment, some officials hesitated, citing production pressures and material shortages.

But we persuaded them: "Though seemingly unnecessary now, experimental equipment is vital for new product development, scientific quality control, and academization. Prioritize prospects over immediate gains."

Combining modern multilayer paper technology with coating and polishing, we established a versatile lacquer production process, enabling mass production of high-quality lacquer.

This achievement reaffirmed the truth: with determination, nothing is impossible.

Adhering to Party policy in all work, we overcame difficulties in production normalization and rear-base consolidation, finding solutions where none seemed possible.

This year, aiming for the 9th Party Congress, we set bold goals to develop more heat-resistant lacquer and new products for metal and chemical industries.

Though beyond usual capabilities, our accumulated potential makes them achievable.

But these are just first steps. Our confidence soars, for the all-powerful encyclopedia of Party policy guides our future.

Today’s production and innovation struggles teach me anew: only by becoming Party policy experts can we surpass limits.

With unwavering resolve to walk in lockstep with the Party Central, sharing ideology and steps, and tirelessly studying policy to grasp reality and innovate work, we will surely elevate our factory to the heights desired by the Party and era.

More, Better—The Party’s Demand, the People’s Wish

Our factory now boils with the struggle to produce more and better-quality goods.

The "emulation, learning, and experience-sharing" movement has spawned ideas shortening process times, while equipment restoration and production of key items yield good results. Monthly plans are consistently overfulfilled, and our shoes won first prize at the "National Spring Shoe Exhibition-2025."

More, better—this is not merely a production issue but the Party’s demand and the people’s wish.

Had we treated it as routine economic work, we would not have advanced so substantially. The Party organization’s ideological work, deeply instilling that even our ordinary tasks glorify the Party’s leadership achievements and bring people happiness, ignited unprecedented production enthusiasm.

In these days of innovation, we experienced firsthand the colossal power of the masses’ strength, boiling with loyalty and patriotism.

Yes, as long as the call to produce more and better pulses in our hearts as loyalty and patriotism, we will continue striding vigorously toward the glorious Party Congress.

Mass Movement’s Fervor Is the Speed of Advance

Officials in our province unanimously affirm: "When ideology is mobilized, nothing is impossible. Reserves lie in the people’s hearts."

As officials tasked with inspiring workers and blazing trails in production and innovation, we deeply felt in this half-year that the mass movement’s fervor is the speed of advance in all sectors and units.

The innovative achievements of our forestry units illustrate this.

Production conditions were unfavorable, lacking in many aspects. The only way forward was mobilizing the masses’ spiritual strength.

We went to the sites, igniting the flames of socialist competition. Initially hesitant before difficulties, even officials grappling with piled-up problems transformed in the crucible of the mass movement.

Hearing their impassioned voices, we recall the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un’s words:

"Our unique mass movement ideology and tradition, which turn ordinary people into heroes, latecomers into pioneers, and small hands into summoners of the legendary Chollima, demonstrate their power."

The life of the mass movement lies in making it the masses’ own. The key is the officials’ stance.

Instead of succumbing to passivity and defeatism before difficulties, we must rally all workers into the mass movement, making every workplace seethe with its fervor.

The more we officials, who grew up learning the Juche idea’s principle—believing in and relying on the people’s strength—and the heroic epic of the Republic, strive, the more the masses’ spirit is unleashed, its power always negating limits.

Such True Patriots Inspire Our Production Struggle

Honorary Party Members, Examples for All

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"For revolutionaries, becoming Party members is an honor, but a higher honor is continuing to shine the noble political life of a Party member until the last moment."

Responding to the Kangson’s bold struggle spirit, our factory’s working class has risen as one to produce more cement than last year. Everywhere, sincere patriots dedicate sweat without reserve. Among them are six honorary Party members, including Ri Yun Dong of Soseong No. 1 Workshop, who, long eligible for retirement, still guard key posts.

As skilled workers once indispensable to the factory, they could comfortably enjoy their remaining years. But they say: "As long as our skills are needed, how can we stay idle?" and have returned to work for years.

Family issues and aging bodies bring discomfort, and their children plead for rest. Yet, they leave no blank days in their mental attendance records.

No one demanded this. They seek no evaluation. With pure hearts, they keep their admission oaths, striving to hasten the nation’s prosperity.

Thus, they volunteer for tough tasks and set internal competition goals, recording red patriotic charts and conscience-based achievements.

Such loyal, conscientious patriots infinitely inspire all factory officials and workers.

Comparing themselves to the older generation’s spotless mindset, all burn with zeal to dedicate everything to the Party and motherland.

Yes, yesterday and today, they are our models, teaching through action the glory of Party membership and the value of true life.

"Not Duty, But Sincere Devotion to the Nation"

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Officials must burn with patriotic passion more than anyone for the country and people, always standing in the vanguard of patriotic struggle, shedding sweat with the people."

As deputy chairman of a county agricultural management committee, my responsibility in farming operations and command is weighty.

Thus, I strove to fulfill my duties conscientiously. But lately, I often ponder: beyond officials’ duty lies sincere devotion to the nation.

Months ago, farmers shared this story: "Officials who genuinely understand our hearts and help us bow our heads in gratitude. We will be infinitely diligent before the land."

They spoke of Jon Yong Gil, a county security official who has worked tirelessly to uplift lagging farms.

Once, he asked me about high-yield farming methods for barren land. Knowing his efforts, I wondered why a non-agricultural official delved into such specifics.

Reading my thoughts, he explained: "Seeing farmers eager for high yields despite poor soil, I wanted to help substantively."

That day, I reflected: had I, like him, sincerely sought to aid high-yield farmers?

His words lingered: "We are officials, but first citizens sharing responsibility for the nation’s rice jar."

Later, pooling wisdom, we studied the farm’s soil and devised suitable methods. Jon Yong Gil not only shared these with farmers but spearheaded material support. The results surpassed previous harvests.

Officials’ duty is important, but when combined with citizens’ awareness to contribute substantively to national prosperity, it yields clearer results. Such sincere devotion fuels our grain production struggle.
