Memorial meetings were held in Myanmar, Germany, Switzerland, and Mexico on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the passing of the great leader Kim Il Sung.

The meetings were attended by political and social figures and the masses of these countries.

The Executive Chairman of the Myanmar Journalists Association said that President Kim Il Sung, throughout his life, held high the banner of independence and international justice and provided unsparing support and encouragement to the people of many countries in their struggle for colonial national liberation and construction of new societies.

He emphasized that "the sacred name of the peerless great man shines along with socialist Korea, which advances powerfully along its own path without wavering in the complex international political situation."

The Chairman of the Swiss Committee for Korea referred to the great leader, who performed such immense feats unmatched by any other famous person in the world, as an outstanding leader of the nation, a senior statesman of world politics, a master of independent politics, an iron-willed commander of invincibility, and a saint of the century.

The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Mexican People's Socialist Party highly praised the noble revolutionary life of the parent leader, who made great contributions to the country, the people, the times, and history.

Figures from various organizations, including the German Anti-Imperialist League, the Korea Culture Research Group, and the Executive Committee of the DPRK International Solidarity Group in Germany, praised the achievements of the parent leader, who created the Juche idea and thoroughly implemented it in revolution and construction.

At the memorial meeting held in Switzerland, a message to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was adopted.
