Cultural dwellings have been splendidly erected in several farm villages in Kogsan County and Paektong County.

In line with the Party's lofty intention to transform all rural villages across the country into socialist ideal villages, modern cultural houses have also been built at the Munyang Farm and Phyongam Farm in Kogsan County, North Hwanghae Province, and the Ryongpho Farm and Jakdong Farm in Paektong County, Kangwon Province.

Kogsan and Paektong counties dispatched capable officials to the sites and provided construction equipment and tools, while closely conducting operations and command to qualitatively push forward the housing construction by concentrating forces and means.

Hearts Connected to the New Street Construction Site

The hearts of our people, deeply engraving the sky-high benevolence of the respected Comrade General Secretary and burning to repay it even a little, surge like a torrent at the construction site for 10,000 houses in the fourth stage of the Hwasong area.

Among those dedicating their sincerity to this grand construction front are also elderly residents living in Ryongmun-dong 1, Ryongsong District, and Sop'o-dong 3, Hyongjesan District.

Although they could spend the rest of their lives being doted on by their grandchildren without reproach, what is it that is so dearly cherished in their hearts, that they have unfailingly visited the capital's housing construction site over the past three years?

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said as follows:

On a day in October 2022, when marvelous structures were soaring day by day on the vast Hwasong area, once a desolate plain, two women visited the home of Comrade Yun Jong Suk, a resident of People's Unit 31, Ryongmun-dong 1, Ryongsong District. They were Comrades Choe Sun Hui and Jang Kum Hui, who had worked at an educational institution of the People's Army and were now receiving old-age benefits.

They said to Comrade Yun Jong Suk, who had received a commendation from the respected Comrade General Secretary for showing exceptional merit in the work of supporting the People's Army:

Saying that the soldier-builders shedding sweat of devotion for the capital's construction are no different from their own children, they unhesitatingly offered funds prepared for their children, and every builder respected them for visiting the construction site rain or shine.

Renewing the Appearance of City and County Seats

In North Hwanghae Province
