Pak Pong Ju Meets Lao Party Delegation


Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the WPK, met and had a talk with the delegation of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) led by Phankham Viphavanh, member of the Political Bureau of the LPRP Central Committee, permanent secretary of the Secretariat of the LPRP Central Committee and vice-president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on Thursday.

Phankham Viphavanh said that the Lao party, government and people would invariably support the Korean Party, government and people in their struggle to achieve prosperity of the country with the might of self-reliance in the future, too, expressing belief that the traditional friendship and unity between the two countries would grow stronger.
