Bright Smiles in the Embrace of Benevolent Love

At the Songchon School for the Hearing Impaired

The Great Leader Kim Jong Il taught:

"Through real life, our people are convinced that our socialist system is the most superior, providing them with a civilized and happy life."

In Songchon County’s Jaegol-ri stands the Songchon School for the Hearing Impaired, where students study under state benefits, nurturing talents according to their hopes.

Visiting on the Disabled Persons’ Day, we found many gathered for a performance.

Principal Kim Yong Rim shared that this year, the Party strengthened education for the disabled, deepening the day’s significance.

Our disabled protection work began post-liberation.

The Great Leader Kim Il Sung, amidst nation-building, included in the 1946 Labor Law provisions for disabled workers’ living conditions, initiating this work.

During the war, he prioritized honoring wounded veterans, extending warm care.

Later, educational institutions for the disabled arose nationwide, including this school.

The disabled enjoy shadow-free, happy lives thanks to our Party’s loving policies.

The two-story school, dormitories, and amenities are neat and tidy. Lush trees and fruit trees create a botanical garden-like atmosphere, aiding education.

The school, fully equipped under Party and state care, offers specialized education and extracurricular activities like tailoring, volleyball, and art, nurturing students’ talents.

Dormitories and dining halls reflect state benefits, with regular fish supplies and priority access to Songchon’s local industrial products.

The performance featured group dances, gymnastics, and music, climaxing with the recitation "The Leader’s Embrace Is the Best" and song "We Have Nothing to Envy in the World," moving parents to tears.

The students’ bright, confident performances expressed gratitude to the motherland:

"We always sing of our grateful motherland!"

Yes, in the embrace of socialist Korea, which cares more for the sick and wounded, the disabled envision brighter futures.

Leaving, we inwardly cheered: "The ever-grateful motherland guards your future. Study and soar freely in its embrace!"

Morning Scenes at a Fulfilling Workplace

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"All officials, Party members, and workers must deeply realize their lofty mission before the Party, revolution, motherland, and people, and contribute to building a powerful nation by excellently fulfilling their revolutionary tasks."

A new morning dawns at the Pyongyang Locomotive Depot.

Whistle blasts pierce the morning air as workers, brimming with pride, enter the gates, greeted by bulletin boards celebrating their achievements.

Broadcast propaganda vans energize the compound with militant songs, invigorating strides.

Locomotive horns resound anew. Sunlight glints on tracks, and trains awaiting departure signals refresh spirits.

Applause erupts—a freight train crew, including engine driver Rim Kwang Hun, receives flowers and accolades.

Veteran engine driver Jong Chol Su, a model for youth, remains the depot’s treasure.

Repair teams, under slogans like "One for All, All for One," bustle diligently. Some, after night shifts, volunteer extra shifts.

The depot thrums with innovation flames. As locomotives depart, the spirit of advance and innovation will spread nationwide, accelerating our motherland’s progress.

Truly, the joyous morning scenes at this fulfilling workplace encapsulate our transforming country’s grand creation and vibrant advance.

Aggressors Bringing New War to Middle East Cannot Evade Responsibility for Destroying International Peace

DPRK Foreign Ministry Spokesperson’s Statement

Israel’s indiscriminate large-scale military attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran on June 13, a reckless act of state terrorism, risks full-scale Middle East war, drawing global condemnation.

Violating international law and the UN Charter, Israel’s brutal aggression tramples sovereign states’ territorial integrity, constituting unpardonable crimes.

The DPRK sternly condemns this act.

The current crisis exposes Israel as a Middle East peace saboteur and global peace wrecker, backed by the US and West.

Despite world outcry, Israel escalates attacks on Palestine’s Gaza and West Bank, Lebanon, and Syria, massacring civilians and causing humanitarian crises.

The international community condemns not Iran’s legitimate self-defense but the US and West’s warmongering.

Zionists and their backers, plunging the Middle East into war, will bear full responsibility for destroying international peace.

The Leipzig Trial

Held from September 21 to December 23, 1933, this fascist trial targeted communists after the Reichstag fire.

Hitler’s regime, seizing power in January 1933, brutally suppressed the Communist Party.

Fabricating a communist "uprising signal," they passed emergency laws banning freedoms and arrested Bulgarian communist Georgi Dimitrov and others.

In court, Dimitrov exposed the arson as a Nazi plot, backed by global progressive outcry.

Cornered, the Nazis acquitted the communists.
