Thanks to the grand local development vision and energetic guidance of the great Party Central Committee, an unprecedented era of great transformation is dynamically unfolding across local areas. In this momentum, a modern sea mussel farming station and fishing village cultural residential district have splendidly emerged as another monumental creation in Rawon County located on the eastern coast.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, inspected the newly completed Rawon County Sea Mussel Farming Station and Fishing Village Cultural Residential District on August 26.

He was accompanied by Jo Yong Won, Secretary of the WPK Central Committee; Kim Jae Ryong and Kim Yong Su, Department Directors of the WPK Central Committee; and Pak Jong Chon and Kim Yo Jong, Vice Department Directors of the WPK Central Committee.

Kim Jong Un was greeted on the spot by the commanders of the military units mobilized for the construction.

The Rawon County Sea Mussel Farming Station is an important local construction policy project for this year, strongly promoted by the decision of the 11th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Party, pursuant to the grand local development vision of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. This vision aims for cities and counties in coastal areas, which account for nearly one-third of the country, to effectively develop and utilize their natural geographical potential and resources, drive the self-reliant development of the local economy, and improve the material living standards of local residents as early as possible.

Through the devoted execution spirit and tenacious practical power of the soldier-builders, who accepted the Party's call as a combat order and charged forth in a general offensive, the modern and advanced production facilities of the farming station, various single and multi-story dwelling houses, and convenience service facilities were completed in perfect harmony with the surrounding natural environment, creating a fantastical scenic fishing village known as "Rawonpo" in just over 190 days from the start of construction.

Looking at the panoramic view of Rawonpo unfolded like a painting with great joy, Kim Jong Un said with great excitement that it was clearly early this year when the first spade was turned at this site, which was just a sandy field, and now it has already been completed into such a picturesque landscape. He stated that the project planned since last year to build a fisheries base more distinctive than the Sinpho Sea Mussel Farming Station has finally been gloriously completed, presenting the people of Rawon County with the most beautiful fishing village in the world.

Kim Jong Un expressed satisfaction, stating that with the emergence of such an excellent sea mussel farming station and fishing village in Rawon County, which was one of the smallest and economically weakest counties nationally, this county has now become one with good development prospects and can rightfully be called "Rawon" (Paradise) in name and reality.

Kim Jong Un said that the great speed of creation, which developed the most backward county nationally into one with a solid economic foundation in just over half a year, will be specially recorded in the history of the new era local industrial revolution and the growing development of the Republic. He added that if we continue running at such a dazzling speed of advance, our country will soon greet a great change across the whole nation, and this will become a powerful driving force for hastening the complete victory of socialism.

While visiting various single and multi-story dwelling houses of different forms, Kim Jong Un mentioned the measures taken by the Party to make the design uniquely harmonize with the natural environment of the coast in a refined way. He repeatedly expressed joy, saying that the construction was done with truly high quality, satisfying the design technical requirements, and all dwelling houses in the fishing village cultural residential district were completed flawlessly as perfect projects.

Kim Jong Un evaluated that all structures erected in Rawonpo are products of the high ideological readiness and zeal of our army, which upholds our Party's local development policy with absolute fidelity and devoted struggle. He said that in work for the people, we must never know satisfaction. Even if the production buildings and dwelling houses erected here today are excellent, even more excellent monumental entities surpassing these must be born tomorrow. He presented programmatic tasks for continuing to advance the construction of local industrial factories and rural dwelling houses at a high level.

Comrade Kim Jong Un mentioned again the prospect goals of our Party's local development policy. He said that when all local builders struggle with the ambitious resolve and spirit to learn from and overtake the architectural culture and new civilization of the capital, which has reached a miraculously high level through the modern 50,000-unit dwelling house construction, the century-long task of local revitalization welcomed by the people will be gloriously accomplished.

He emphasized that just as a seafood production base for the county people has been established in the best location of Rawon County this time, henceforth, even when selecting one site or erecting one building, we must thoroughly make the demands and interests of the people the absolute standard and devote the utmost sincerity.

Comrade Kim Jong Un sat together with officials, looked at the panoramic view of Rawonpo, and consulted on a new prospect plan for boosting the county's economic potential.

Kim Jong Un said he wants to see the happy appearance of the people within the county even a day sooner, and that the evaluation of this planned project should be received from the people of this locality. He gave instructions to meaningfully hold the completion ceremony of the Rawon County Sea Mussel Farming Station in the near future.
