Completion of Renovated Kumgol Youth Station

Kumgol Youth Station of the Dancheon Railway Branch was magnificently renovated and completed.

The interior and exterior of Kumgol Youth Station have been excellently arranged as a modern passenger service base befitting the characteristics of the mountainous area, ensuring the Party’s love for the people is passed down through generations, and guaranteeing more civilized and convenient travel conditions for the people.

In October 2020, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un inspected the site of recovery from damage in the Komdok area by riding the perilous canyon railway temporarily restored, unfolding a brilliant blueprint to transform the city into a national model mountainous and mining city, directing the neat arrangement of Kumgol Youth Station and solving problems that emerged during construction.

New Jeongjang Fingerling Hatchery Constructed

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un gave the following instructions:

"Fish farming and aquaculture must be carried out on a large scale."

Officials and workers of Jangjin County set a goal to conduct large-scale fish farming by utilizing the natural and geographical conditions of their region and newly established the Jeongjang fingerling hatchery.

The Great Leader Kim Il Sung said that Jeongjang eel could be called the native eel of our country and personally taught the origin of the fish's name. Jeongjang eel is characterized by being fatty, delicious, and fast-growing, thus possessing great economic value.

Typically 70–80 cm in length, up to 1.3 m at maximum, Jeongjang eel prefers cold water and is abundant in the Jangjin River, Heocheon River, Jangja River, Jangjin Lake, and Bujeon Lake.

The county made dedicated efforts under the high guidance of the Great Leader’s instruction to hatch Jeongjang eel eggs and release them into the river by setting the goal of constructing a new fingerling hatchery.

County responsible officials properly selected the hatchery’s location according to the eel’s habits and growth conditions, taking the lead in resolving issues arising in construction.

They frequently visited the construction site and participated alongside workers, conducting innovative political work which deeply instilled in everyone that the hatchery’s purpose is to further strengthen the material foundation that contributes to improving residents’ lives.

At Seonbong Thermal Power Plant

Patriotic Miner Group of Unpa Increases Mineral Production by over 30,000 Tons This Year

New revolutionary news again came from Unpa Mine.

The miners of Kwangmyeong Shaft of Unpa Mine, widely known as a patriotic miner group across the whole country, marked the 80th anniversary of the Party’s founding by increasing mineral production by 20,000 tons. Thereafter, they fought fiercely with the spirit of continuous innovation and consecutive leaps, achieving another proud success by producing more than 10,000 tons of additional minerals in just over 60 days.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said as follows:

"The reserve for production growth lies among the masses, and the key to solving all problems is to mobilize the spiritual strength of the producer masses."

The patriotic miner group of Unpa, who celebrated the 80th anniversary of the Party’s founding meaningfully with increased mineral production, was inspired by the speech of the respected General Secretary, urging courageously and firmly to advance for the final completion of the socialist cause where the dreams and ideals of our people will come true, following the glorious 80 years of pioneering and victory, becoming one with the Party and people on the high podium of the celebration.

Under the leadership of the Party organization, shaft officials vigorously conducted socialist competition by squads and energetically undertook organizational tactics and command for unconditionally seizing the production increase target, rationally allocating forces to concentrate on ore transport.

Along with that, considerable care was given to improving rear services to stimulate mass enthusiasm for production increase.
