As we reflect on the meaningful days of the first half of the year, during which we have raced forward along a path of miraculous transformation under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the entire people of the nation are filled with soaring enthusiasm to gloriously decorate this significant year—the 80th anniversary of the Party's founding and a crucial year for fulfilling the decisions of the 8th Party Congress—in the annals of our history.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"The cause of socialism of our own style is invincible, and only victory and glory await us on the path ahead under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea."

Looking back on the meaningful journey of the first half of the year, our emotions are renewed.

From the very beginning of the new year, the completion ceremonies of local industrial factories, the groundbreaking ceremonies signaling the full-scale implementation of the new local development plan that includes the three major construction projects determined by our Party, the uninterrupted rise of 10,000 households in the capital, the flames of patriotic production sweeping across the nation alongside the surge in output at Sangwon, the successive launch ceremonies of new multipurpose warships that make us feel the approach of an era when our growing national strength reaches the oceans, and the test launches of mighty military equipment—all these achievements vividly demonstrate the indomitable spirit and boundless potential of socialist Korea to the world.

As we trace the meaningful journey of the first half of the year, one conviction is firmly engraved in the hearts of our people: the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is science itself and an absolute guarantee of victory. It is the ironclad belief that our cause advances, our revolution triumphs, and our future brightens under the sacred guidance of the great leader.

A Million-Strong Patriotic Forge Ahead

Throughout the first half of the year, one song has resounded across every corner of this land:

"We Are Koreans," a masterpiece of our era that reflects the boundless pride and self-confidence of the Korean people who hold the peerless great man in high esteem.

"We are so strong, we are Koreans,
Through generations, we know no submission.
We will show the world our spirit a hundredfold,
Proclaiming Korea’s eternal rise as a mighty nation."

These are not merely lyrics sung by our people, which have shocked the world. They encapsulate the answer to how all the dazzling transformations and miraculous realities of this half-year were achieved and vividly portray how radiant the future of this Korea will be.

Even now, the sacred image of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, deeply moved during the New Year's celebration performance where "We Are Koreans" resounded, remains vividly etched in our hearts.

As we welcome the historic 8th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Party, our people, looking back on the march that has surged forward from the beginning of the year, are filled with a hundredfold confidence that the energetic revolutionary leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who has inspired millions with courage and spread the wings of leap-forward progress, ensures the victorious conclusion of this year.

The Unmatched Power of This Land—Great Trust and Love

The first half of this year's struggle to fulfill the decisions of the 8th Party Congress can be described as a period of extraordinary elevation and full unleashing of our people's ideological and spiritual strength.

Holding fast to the trust of the Party Central, the production surge at Sangwon, exceeding 114% from the outset, has swept across the nation. The working class, guarding the nation’s leading industries, has successfully carried out major repairs of 100-ton ultra-high-power electric furnaces and improved the operational technology of energy-saving oxygen blast furnaces, opening prospects for increased iron production. Coal mines in South Pyongan Province have also overfulfilled their production plans.

The working class of Namhung and Hungnam, fueling the flames of fertilizer production, has significantly increased output compared to the same period last year. The working class of Bukchang, while introducing advanced technologies to save thousands of tons of coal monthly, has produced even more electricity in just one month.

Countless innovators have emerged in every field, and even under unfavorable spring weather conditions, the socialist countryside has completed rice transplanting on the main areas on schedule, with rare wheat and barley harvests reported, instilling confidence and optimism in our people striving for new victories.

Whether meeting innovators in bustling factories or discussing farming with agricultural managers, all unanimously attribute their success to the unprecedented surge in spiritual strength.

Hearing these impassioned voices, the image of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who has guided the first half of the year’s struggle into a relentless advance by unleashing the boundless power of the masses as the driving force for creating miracles, rises solemnly in our hearts.

Just as a mighty river has its source and a towering tree its roots, the infinite spiritual strength of our people and soldiers stems from the fiery trust and love of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The sacred canvas of the peerless great man’s love and trust, which has set millions of hearts ablaze with revolutionary and patriotic fervor, unfolded from the very dawn of this year.

On the eve of the new year 2025, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un warmly encouraged labor innovators and meritorious workers, calling on them to shine as creators of heroic feats and pioneers of the collective innovation movement in the forefront of production and patriotic struggles to fulfill the tasks set by the 8th Party Congress.

The respected leader’s appeal at the dawn of the new year became an inexhaustible source inspiring our people to embrace the Party’s policies as their own and fight with indomitable spirit for their implementation.

Even now, one heartwarming story resonates across the nation.

Amid the relentless march of continuous offensives, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, receiving reports that some officials suggested postponing some construction projects due to insufficient cement production, taught us a profound lesson: solving problems that way is not our way; reserves lie in the hearts of the masses.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un’s teaching—that the path to increased production lies in the ideological and spiritual uplift of the masses—embodies the sublime truth that the people’s spirit is the strongest force in the world, capable of achieving the impossible when unleashed.

At the groundbreaking ceremony for the fourth-phase 10,000-household construction in Hwaseong, he fervently appealed:

Always overflowing with fiery trust and love for the people, the great leader’s hand, which multiplies the spirit of millions, ensures that the ranks following him unleash boundless strength and passion in the sacred struggle to fulfill the Party Congress decisions.

Patriots who love and develop what is their own, dedicating sweat and passion, produce renowned goods and superior creations that can proudly be called world-class, emerging everywhere across the nation.

Indeed, alongside the precious treasures of this half-year, the growth of our people into patriots who unite themselves with the motherland is entirely the proud fruit of the outstanding leadership method of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who has consistently guided the revolutionary leadership process as one of unleashing the masses’ spiritual strength.

The boundless passion of our people, who multiply their invincible spirit under the fiery love and trust of the revolution’s outstanding leader, is an irresistible force that will surely elevate this land to the status of the world’s strongest nation, a paradise for the people.

Our cause has taken another great leap forward in the first half of this year, rising to even greater heights.
