The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, left Pyongyang on September 1 by special train to attend the commemorative event for the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War and the World Anti-Fascist War, at the invitation of Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China.

The special train crossed the border in the early morning of the 2nd.

Accompanying Comrade Kim Jong Un on his visit to the People's Republic of China are leading officials of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the government of the DPRK.

Further Exalting the Marching Spirit Towards the Glorious Party Congress: Sangwon Cement United Enterprise Completes August People's Economic Plan

News of innovation has been reported from the Sangwon Cement United Enterprise, a leading cement production base.

The officials and working class here, who are highly upholding the Party's call and vigorously fueling the flames of miraculous increased production, have continued to elevate the momentum of advancement and brilliantly completed the August People's Economic Plan.

The overwhelming reality that the United Enterprise, which stands guard over the arsenal of great construction, is steadily achieving its monthly increased production goals in the second half of this year, following the first half, powerfully demonstrates the extraordinary patriotic enthusiasm of the Sangwon working class, who have turned out in full force for the struggle to greet the 80th anniversary of the Party's founding and the 9th Party Congress with shining labor achievements.

Even in August, the working class of Sangwon, connecting their lifeline to the Party Central's trust and holding the unwavering belief that there is no goal that cannot be conquered when fighting, launched continuous offensive operations.

The officials of the United Enterprise Party Committee went to the production sites and aggressively conducted frontline-style political work while engaging in a fierce increased production struggle with the masses. The staff department also proactively ensured the supply of various raw materials and fuel, and dynamically deployed operations and command to maximize the equipment operation rate.

The slogans and signboards deployed throughout the sites, the spirited broadcasting propaganda, and the activities of the mobile art propaganda teams enhanced the mental strength of the producing masses a hundredfold. Whenever urgent repairs to the kilns were required, the Party and administrative officials of the United Enterprise established their base at the site, immediately secured equipment and repair materials, and actively inspired the masses to create heroic feats.

Amidst the entire United Enterprise boiling with increased production fervor, the basic production units created daily innovations in clinker and cement production.

The operators of the central control room ensured the quality of cement production by managing the overall process scientifically and technologically. The workers of the calcination workshop and the cement workshop, despite unfavorable production conditions due to high temperatures, proactively established rational countermeasures and continuously increased the operation rate of the equipment. The workers of the compound raw material workshop, the raw material workshop, and the repair workshop also responsibly carried out urgently raised tasks, greatly contributing to ensuring that the kiln's roar never ceased.

The officials of the coal mines and mines responsible for raw material and fuel production actively inspired the production enthusiasm of the masses with powerful political work, meticulous operations, and exemplary work ethic, ensuring that the flames of productive upswing blazed fiercely at every workplace.

The miners of the Sangwon Limestone Mine secured hundreds of thousands of tons of mining volume by actively conducting a mass-based technological innovation movement and increasing the number of blasts compared to before. They efficiently carried out blasting at the No. 1 mining site and focused on managing the mining road in accordance with the rainy season conditions, producing a large amount of iron ore needed for cement production, and also increased the production volume of shale at the No. 2 mining site.

The Samcheong Mine improved underground ventilation conditions and increased ore production, exceeding the August plan by more than 120%, and the Hwacheon Coal Mine promoted the construction of new tunnels while focusing on on-site technical conferences and process reviews, and smoothly ensured the supply of high-quality coal to the cement production units.

Currently, the officials and working class of the United Enterprise are aware of their responsibility in vigorously igniting the flames of a new construction revolution and are continuing to spur on the struggle to greet the glorious Party Congress with proud labor achievements.

Let Us Demonstrate a High Degree of Responsibility, Accuracy, and Perfection in Implementing Party Decisions

Today's days, as the final all-out offensive to fulfill the 5-year plan set forth by the 8th Party Congress unfolds, urgently demand that all sectors, all units, and all members of society demonstrate a high degree of responsibility, accuracy, and perfection in implementing Party decisions.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said the following:

"The epochal tasks that we ourselves have decided and undertaken must be achieved by our own hands, with new struggles that surpass the efforts we have made so far."

In the period from the 8th Party Congress to today, the spirit of absoluteness and unconditionality in implementing Party decisions has been demonstrated more highly than ever before among officials, Party members, and workers. The vanguard role of officials and Party members who hold the thoroughgoing viewpoint that the decisions and directives of the Party Central must be upheld as supreme commands and must be implemented without fail, and the dedicated efforts of the workers, have filled the entire nation with the fervor of leaps and increased production even amidst such severe difficulties, new standards and new records have been created everywhere, and the flames of the socialist patriotic movement and revolutionary mass movements have blazed fiercely.
