December is the month when the radiant image of the Fatherly General, who dedicated his all throughout his life for the people, sowed the seeds of prosperity and happiness across the country, and laid the eternal foundation for building a powerful fatherland, becomes even more poignant amidst the silently falling white snowflakes.

As we embrace the pure hearts and burning sincerity of the people of this country, who wish to follow and serve the great Father with single-hearted devotion on the hills where the great river of longing endlessly surges, we feel even more keenly the noble spiritual world of the people who unwaveringly maintain the bond with the General and live as his eternal family members.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said as follows:

"We must fulfill our duty as soldiers and disciples of the great General, serve the General with all loyalty, and bring his plans and aspirations to full bloom in reality."

Fourteen years have passed since that tearful day when the entire people of the country, calling out for the great General with choked voices, burst into sobs.

However, what will never change even if the rivers and mountains change a hundred times and a million years pass is precisely our people's single-hearted devotion of loyalty in looking up to and following the great General.

Today, on Mansu Hill where the statues of the great Leader and the great General are held high, the pure sincerity and loyal hearts of countless people continue to flow in waves.

"Mansu Hill is the place we climb first, both in times of joy and hardship. When we see the benevolent images of the great Leader and the great General who always greet us with bright smiles, it feels as if our bodies and minds are born anew."

Even today, we cannot forget the voice filled with the sincerity of employees at a certain supply center under the Pyongyang City People's Committee, who have been dedicating all their sincerity to Mansu Hill for decades.

Manager Comrade An Hye-sim is a former soldier girl from a company with a deep history, who, during her military service, longing for the Fatherly Leader, sent fragrant bouquets of wildflowers from the distant Soljaeryong Pass to Mansu Hill.

Three years ago, on the day she was assigned as manager of the supply center, Comrade An Hye-sim resolved to take the work of holding the great Leader and the great General in high esteem with loyalty as her main task, just as during her military service.

However, when she learned that employees of the supply center, including Comrade Ri Eun-ha, had already been dedicating all their sincerity to this work for over 20 years, and that it had now become the unchangeable daily routine of all employees, she was struck with great shock.

Rain or shine, snow or sleet, the burning hearts of those who dedicate their pure conscience to the work of tending more brightly and respectfully to the statues of the great Leader and the great General, held high on Mansu Hill, truly know no end.

The loyal hearts connected to Mansu Hill were by no means harbored only in the hearts of one or two individuals or a few unit employees.

Since all the people of this country, connected by blood ties with the great General, are his beloved sons and daughters, for whom he willingly endured a thousand and ten thousand hardships throughout his life, devoting his whole spirit and affection to protect and nurture them, countless people are voluntarily walking the single path of loyalty to fulfill their duty as the General's children.

In that December fourteen years ago, when they encountered the thunderbolt-like news that the Fatherly General, whom they had trusted and followed like the heavens, had suddenly left our side, none of the work team members here wanted to believe that fact at all.

Hadn't the Fatherly General visited their workplace just a few months earlier to inspect the site of the Second Pyongyang Department Store No. 1 Commodity Exhibition?

Everyone rushed to Mansu Hill as if flying.

But it was reality.

In those days when the unbelievable fact painfully tore at their hearts, they all swallowed their tears and firmly pledged in their hearts.

We will dedicate all our pure sincerity to holding the Fatherly General in high esteem for all eternity.

From that time on, their morning commute turned towards Mansu Hill.

Although many work team members have changed since those days, everyone's morning commute route has remained unchanged. As the single-hearted loyalty to follow the great General is eternal, even as time passes, these people unfailingly visit Mansu Hill, where the statues of the great Leader and the great General are enshrined, early in the morning to pay their respects and have devoted their pure sincerity to the work of managing the surroundings of the statues.

Among the loyal people of the capital Pyongyang, who always keep their hearts connected to Mansu Hill, is also the family of housewife Kim Chun-ryon living in People's Neighborhood Unit 55, Chukjon 1-dong, Mangyongdae District.

In her home, there is a "Loyalty Journal" that all family members cherish and keep. On the very first page of the journal, the words of the eternal life of the Leader, "The great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung and the great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il are with us forever," are respectfully kept, and the sincerity her family has devoted each month to the work of managing the surroundings of the statues of the great Leader and the great General, held high on Mansu Hill, is recorded.

Saying that when walking the streets of the capital Pyongyang, it feels as if the great Leader and the great General, who always embrace all our people with benevolent smiles and in their warm bosom, are calling them to come quickly, and she cannot suppress the desire to climb Mansu Hill endlessly, housewife Kim Chun-ryon expressed her intention to her children to run the "Loyalty Journal" at home.

Housewife Kim Chun-ryon thought that guiding her sons, who grew up without want in the bosom of the great Leader and the great General, and her grandchildren, who are growing up strong today as protagonists of the future, supported by the warm love of the respected General Secretary, to dedicate their all to the work of holding the great Leader and the great General in even higher esteem for all eternity, is precisely a mother's rightful duty and sublime mission.

Over the past decade, numerous literary and art works embodying the immortal achievements of the great General have been created

December in our fatherland is a time when heartfelt longing and boundless reverence for the great General surge even more powerfully.

Our people's earnest hearts, which will convey for a million years the immortal revolutionary achievements of the great General, who dedicated his all throughout his life for the flourishing prosperity of the socialist fatherland and the happiness of the people, are also warmly reflected in the numerous literary and art works created in the new era of the Juche revolution.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said as follows:

"We must hold the great General high as the eternal Leader of our Party and people, and glorify his revolutionary life and immortal revolutionary achievements for all time."

On January 16, 2012, the front page of Rodong Sinmun solemnly carried the song "The General Is Eternal as the Sun," stirring the hearts of the entire people, who were weeping with boundless longing for the Fatherly General, with fierce emotion.

The song "The General Is Eternal as the Sun," which highly praises the unshakable faith and will of our people to uphold the peerless great man for a million years, who made "The People Are My God" his lifelong motto and sounded the whistle of the people's train until the last period of revolutionary leadership,

Singing this song, our people transformed immense sorrow into a hundredfold strength and courage and boldly stepped forth on the historic march of advance to surely bring the aspirations of the great General to bloom in reality, following the respected General Secretary.

Numerous poetic works, including the epic poem "The Eternal Flames of Patriotism," the long poem "The Great Years of Eternal Life," the lyric poems "The Beloved Name" and "The Story of a Warm Spring Day," unfold the path and image of a genius great man of the great General, who continued the journey of devotion for the peace of the fatherland and the happiness of the people, stirring the entire country with immense emotion.

The long poem "The February Blizzard" also unfolds with deep emotion the countless hardships of the great General, who was born as a son of the Paektu Mountains and continued his life as the Paektu hard march.

From the publication in February 2012 of the full-length novel "Osong Mountain" from the series "The Immortal Leadership", which movingly narrates the record of the devoted super-intense forced march of the great General, who commanded from the forefront the general advance for building a powerful fatherland through day-and-night on-site guidance, until now, over the past decade or so, more than 20 full-length novels in series form have been published, including "The Eternal History," "Let the Morning Shine," and "Nabutgi Pass."

Many artworks, including the acrylic painting "Korea, Let It Shine Upon You" and the Korean painting "The Dawn Path at Samjiyon," reflect the sublime image of the great man of the great General, who, possessed of iron faith and will to brilliantly carry forward and complete the cause of the Juche revolution pioneered at Paektu, unfolded a new history of great succession and transformation upon this land with outstanding political ability and leadership.

Sangwon, Growing Hotter with Loyalty and Longing

At the Sangwon Cement Complex, a leading building materials production base making a significant contribution to strengthening national power and developing socialist civilization through cement production, the days of December pass.

When December comes with white snow falling thick, Comrade Kim Eun-jong, head of the education section at the Paektu Mountain Secret Camp Revolutionary Site Management Office, often welcomes numerous visitors coming to the Paektu Mountain Secret Camp Old Home.

Listening to her lecture on the noble traits of the great General, who, born as a son of Paektu during the harsh days of the anti-Japanese war, spent his childhood in this memorable house—an old home he never forgot once throughout his great life—yet who even postponed the opportunity to have his portrait taken, saying he would take a picture with a joyful heart when all our people are living well without want in the world, the visitors moisten their eyelids with aching longing for the peerless great man.

Return of Our Athletes Who Participated in the 5th Asian Youth Para Games

Our athletes who participated in the 5th Asian Youth Para Games held in the United Arab Emirates returned home on the 16th.

At this competition, athlete Pak Kyong-sok took first place in the men's 100m breaststroke and 50m freestyle (S6 category) respectively, winning two gold medals.

Athlete Sok Kwang-nam, who participated in the men's singles table tennis competition (Class 9), defeated an Indian athlete 3:1 in the semifinals and a Malaysian athlete 3:0 in the finals, achieving the honor of victory.
