Thanks to the timely intervention of the 4th Administrative Department of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG), the work of our organization in Voronezh has been fully resumed.

On January 29, a thematic lecture and collective discussion of the book by historian A. Balkansky, "Lives of Remarkable People: Kim Il Sung," took place at an art workshop in the city of Voronezh. The event was organized and conducted by activists of the Voronezh cell of the DPRK ISG.

The meeting was led by Comrade Maxim Marchenko, Head of the Friendship Club with Korea at Voronezh State University (VSU), and his deputy Mikhail Prudushchenko. The event proceeded in an atmosphere of comradely discussion and in-depth study of the extraordinary life path of the Eternal President and Great Leader of the Korean people, Comrade Kim Il Sung.

During the lecture, the key stages in the formation of the Great Leader's personality and political activities were covered in detail. Special emphasis was placed on the tempering of Comrade Kim Il Sung's revolutionary character in his youth, which enabled him to lead the Korean people's relentless struggle against the Japanese colonialists, take the helm of the state, organize the victorious Fatherland Liberation War, and lay the foundations for the prosperity and independence of Korea.

The participants thoroughly discussed the revolutionary working methods developed under the guidance of the Great Leader. The essence of the "Chongsan-ri" method was noted, which consists of the deep immersion of leading cadres into all aspects of the people's life and labor, prioritizing ideological work. The Taean work system was also examined, which consolidated the principles of worker control over the means of production and became the cornerstone of socialist industrialization. Both of these methods vividly illustrate the Juche-based principle of unity between the leadership and the masses, where the Party and the Leader inspire the people to labor feats.

Andrei Balkansky's book was presented as a valuable resource that debunks many myths and falsifications widespread in the West concerning the history of the DPRK. Despite the work not being a strictly scientific study, it possesses significant educational value and can be recommended as supplementary literature for students of Oriental studies and for all who are interested in Korean history. The author justly focuses attention on the phenomenon of the "partisan state" and convincingly demonstrates how the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il comprehensively developed, systematized, and brought to life the ideas of the Great Leader, building a powerful socialist state based on the Juche and Songun ideas.

This meeting marked the beginning of the systematic work of the Friendship Club with Korea at VSU, aimed at spreading truthful knowledge about Korea and strengthening friendship between peoples.
