Model Primary Cell of DPRK ISG Holds International Festive Event

On February 11, at the Sergiev Posad Socio-Economic College, the model club for Russian-Korean friendship held a solemn event dedicated to the Day of the Shining Star — the 84th anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il. The celebration united students, deputies, representatives of public organizations, and international guests.

The event was organized by activists of the Russian-Korean Friendship Club and the "Movement of the First." The hosts of the event were activists of the Russian-Korean Friendship Club, Anastasia Gaiko and Marianna Ryzhova.

Among the distinguished guests in attendance were:
· Rita Grigorievna Tikhomirova — Chairwoman of the Council of Deputies of the Sergiev Posad Urban District;
· Irina Viktorovna Kormakova — Deputy of the Sergiev Posad Urban District;
· Maria Borisovna Dain — Director of the "Elizaveta Mamontova" Cultural Center;
· Representatives of the "Zhozheks of Moscow and the Moscow Region" organization, led by Dmitry Vladimirovich Malakanov;
· Alexander Andreevich Mostov — Director of the 4th Administrative Department of the DPRK ISG, Director of the Asia Department of the International Association of Peace Funds;
· Murodbek Safarbekovich Yuldoshev — Member of the Coordination Committee of the Youth Affairs Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan, member of the CPT Central Committee, Head of the Tajikistan Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG;
· Christopher Helali — Head of the North American Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG, International Secretary of the American Communist Party, war correspondent in the SMO zone;
· Representatives of the Khotkovo Boarding School, led by the teacher of Life Safety Fundamentals and Social Studies, Konstantin Georgievich Komilavotchnikov.

The ceremonial opening began with a welcoming speech from the Head of the Russian-Korean Friendship Club, Georgy Konstantinovich Dmitriev. He thanked all those present for their participation and emphasized the significance of preserving historical memory and developing international friendship.

The event participants watched a documentary film about the participation of KPA soldiers in the liberation of the Kursk region. The screening allowed for a deeper understanding of the contribution of Korean volunteers and the historical significance of these events.

— Daniil Khodyrev and Alexander Terletsky spoke about the role of the USSR in the liberation of the Korean Peninsula and about the sovereign historical path of the DPRK.

— Alexander Melnikov presented a historical overview of the life and work of Kim Jong Il, noting the key stages of his state work.

— Vadim Averin and Alexei Antonnikov highlighted the period of Kim Jong Il's leadership, when the DPRK first declared itself as a nuclear power. The presentation detailed the development of the country's nuclear program, its significance, and the strategic decisions of that time.

— Evelina Dovzhikova and Yulia Bakhilina spoke about the culture and arts of the DPRK, demonstrating the richness of traditions and the unique identity of national creativity.

Speeches were also made by the distinguished guests of the event:

— Murodbek Yuldoshev, in his speech, emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory and the significance of friendship between peoples. He also awarded the "Honorary Labor Badge" to Marina Ilyicheva — the ideological inspirer and organizer of the regional competition of cultures of the peoples of the Russian Federation, "Friendship of Peoples – Unity of Russia" — for her high contribution to the development of intercultural cooperation, active public work, organization of a large-scale educational project, and strengthening the traditions of friendship among peoples.

— Christopher Helali shared his experience working as a war correspondent in the SMO zone and spoke about his meeting with soldiers of the KPA. He noted that the KPA soldiers, having inherited the noble moral character of Kim Jong Il, spared the lives of many Ukrainian soldiers by taking them prisoner, and also expressed wishes for good luck and confidence in victory.

— Dmitry Malakanov spoke about the successful cooperation of the "Zhozheks of Moscow and the Moscow Region" organization in various areas, from humanitarian aid to cultural projects.

— Alexander Mostov read a congratulatory telegram addressed to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Please accept our sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star — the 84th anniversary of the birth of the great leader of the Korean people, Comrade

Kim Jong Il forever inscribed his name in history as an outstanding strategist and great Commander, who, under conditions of the most acute international challenges, managed to significantly strengthen the country's defense capabilities.
We clearly realize that the DPRK is a genuinely popular socialist state, an example of real sovereignty and people's power. And under Your reliable, proven leadership, the country confidently moves forward, achieving new successes and approaching the dawn of a communist future.
