Students of the Institute of Asian and African Studies at Moscow State University (IAAS MSU), majoring in Korean studies, performed a song from the DPRK dedicated to the Chollima movement. The performance took place at a concert marking the 70th anniversary of IAAS on May 16 and became the first performance in many years reflecting the culture of Juche Korea.

The song "Chollima On The Wing" holds a special place in the history of Korean creative work, demonstrating the resilience and labour heroism of the people during the restoration of the country after the imperialist aggression of the United States and its satellites, the creation of a powerful industrial base, and the realisation of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung's idea of self-sufficiency and self-reliance. Despite more than half a century having passed since the proclamation of the Chollima movement, the image of the worker and the peasant woman riding a winged horse remains a vivid artistic device of agitation in the DPRK.

Comrade Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Central Committee of the DPRK International Youth Friendship League, thanked the performers for their initiative to present to the student and academic audience an important part of the DPRK's culture, which will undoubtedly draw attention to the scientific study of Korea and the dissemination of the spiritual strength of its people. It was decided that the group of IAAS MSU students will continue to be involved in concerts and other events of our organisation.
