International Round Table Held in Moscow to Mark the 78th Anniversary of the Foundation of the DPRK

On September 4, an international round table dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the foundation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was held in Moscow.

The round table was attended by representatives of various Russian public organizations, including the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, the Russian Union of Veterans, and the International Union of Korean Public Associations "KOSARYON", as well as prominent scholars, authoritative Korea experts, and staff members of the DPRK Embassy in the Russian Federation.

The Chairman of the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, as well as representatives of the Union of Veterans and the Academy of Sciences, highly praised the fact that Korea was able to build a truly people's power and embark on the glorious path of independent development thanks to the historical merits of Comrade Kim Il Sung in founding the state. They emphasized that thanks to the line of the Korean leadership aimed at the prosperity of the country and the well-being of the people, and the persistent efforts of the people consistently implementing this line, the republic is developing at a rapid pace, and Korea, clearly stating its principled position on the international arena, is making a great contribution to ensuring peace and security throughout the world.

On behalf of the participants of the round table, a letter was read out addressed to the General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. The letter was handed over to the DPRK Embassy in the Russian Federation.
