On the occasion of the 114th anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung (April 15), a delegation of the Chinese Executive Committee of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG), headed by the head of the Chinese Executive Committee, Comrade Luan Xinglong, visited the DPRK Embassy in Beijing and took part in a solemn flower‑laying ceremony.

The event, organized in the banquet hall of the Embassy, was dedicated to the blessed memory of the Great Leader and his immortal exploits in the liberation of Korea and the construction of a socialist state. The participants of the ceremony laid a wreath and bouquets of flowers before the photographic portraits of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung and the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il, and paid their respects with a deep bow.

During the visit, the delegates of the Chinese Executive Committee congratulated the staff of the diplomatic mission on the historic decisions of the 9th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the re‑election of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un as General Secretary of the WPK. An exchange of views took place on the further development of China‑Korea friendship.

The representatives of the Embassy highly appreciated the activities of the Chinese Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG, emphasizing its significant contribution to the development of people's diplomacy.
