On April 17, students of Voronezh State University (VSU) held a meeting of the participants of the DPRK Friendship Club at the art workshop of Comrade Margarita Tokareva to celebrate the Day of the Sun. Eight people took part in the event.

During the celebration of the birthday of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, members of the Youth League discussed the history of the holiday and learned how the Korean people mark it. The participants expressed profound respect for the founder of the Republic, the liberator of Korea from Japanese occupation, and the creator of the Juche idea.

Towards the end of the discussion, the Deputy Head of the Friendship Club, Comrade Mikhail Prudushchenko, informed the assembled Club members about the new structural changes in the DPRK ISG. The activists also held a lively discussion on the amendments to the Constitution of the DPRK, the achievements of the Republic on the 114th anniversary of the birth of the Eternal President Comrade Kim Il Sung, the exposure of “black myths” about Korea, and modern methods of waging information warfare against our countries. Among other things, plans for future events were announced, in particular the celebration of the founding day of the Korean People’s Army.

At the end of the celebration, the Head of the Friendship Club (VSU), Comrade Maxim Marchenko, summarised the meeting and spoke about the immediate tasks of the Club and plans for the coming month.
