17:00 President of IAPF and Vice-President of DPRK ISG Arrives in Turkey |

On July 10, Comrade Sergey Nikolaevich Baburin, President of the International Association of Peace Foundations (IAPF) and Vice-President of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG), arrived in Istanbul. Upon arrival, he held a meeting with Comrade Alexander Alexandrovich Kalachev, Consul General of Russia in Istanbul. During the meeting, a number of issues were discussed in detail, including the progress made in securing the release of the recently detained activists of the World Anti-Imperialist Platform (WAP) in Istanbul. Subsequently, Comrade Baburin personally met with Günet Yüksel, Chairman of the Justice Committee of the Turkish Parliament, and held talks with him as well.
