On December 8, a meeting was held in Moscow dedicated to the significant date — the birthday of the President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the DPRK, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Participating in the meeting were leading officials of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG), including Comrade Viktor Petrov, Honorary President of the DPRK ISG and Chairman of the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK; Comrade Alexander Mostov, Director of the 4th Administrative Department of the DPRK ISG; Comrade Georgy Dmitriev, Head of the Russian Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG, as well as responsible officials and exemplary young activists of the Russian organization.

The meeting participants visited the ceremonial site at the Embassy of the DPRK, where they laid a flower basket and bouquets before the portrait of Marshal Kim Jong Un and bowed in tribute of deep respect.

Comrade Kim Chun Song, Advisor to the Ambassador of the DPRK, expressed gratitude to the activists of our organization, who had traveled hundreds of kilometers just to lay flowers on the occasion of Marshal Kim Jong Un's birthday. He praised the recent achievements of our organization and wished it new successes in the coming year.

Comrade Mostov emphasized that Marshal Kim Jong Un is a leader not only for the Korean people but for all progressive humanity, which is why the observance of this historic date is of great importance for us as well.

The Embassy of the DPRK presented to the Russian Executive Committee of our Group a gift of over five hundred works of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il, and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. These publications will be distributed for study in the regional committees and numerous primary cells (friendship clubs) of our Group.

For his part, Comrade Dmitriev presented to the Embassy Advisor Comrade Kim Chun Song a commemorative gift — a New Year's painting depicting children playing snowballs, created by the Russian-Korean Friendship Club of the Sergiev Posad Socio-Economic Technical School.

The meeting concluded with a dinner at the "Sungri" ("Victory") restaurant, to which the Administrative Department of our Group invited distinguished activists in honor of the memorable date.
