The premiere screening of two documentary films dedicated to the heroic participation of units of the Korean People's Army in the liberation of the Kursk region from Ukrainian neo-Nazis took place at the Victory Museum in the capital. The event brought together veterans, military personnel, journalists, public figures, and distinguished guests.

The first film presented was "Korean Special Forces," directed by the renowned journalist and State Duma deputy Marina Kim. The film is timed to coincide with the anniversary of the completion of the liberation operation in the Kursk direction. The author of the film recalled that it was on March 12 that the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces, Vladimir Putin, at a command post in the Kursk region, confirmed the final defeat of the enemy in the border area. A decisive role in this was played by Operation "Potok," in which KPA soldiers fought shoulder to shoulder with Russian fighters.

"The Korean fighters courageously fulfilled their duty, fearing neither hardships nor wounds. There were losses. We mourn and pay tribute to those warriors who laid down their lives in the fight against neo-Nazism. We value and remember those who helped us in this difficult hour," emphasized Marina Kim.

The second film of the evening was a Korean documentary about the Kursk liberation operation, the translation of which into Russian was carried out by Comrade Alexander Mostov, Director of the 4th Administrative Department of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG).

When footage appeared on the screen showing obituaries of Korean soldiers who fell in battles against neo-Nazism, the audience rose as one to honor their memory. Many families who came to the premiere could not hold back tears, realizing the depth of the sacrifice made by the fraternal people for the sake of common victory.

Among the distinguished guests at the event were the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Tatyana Moskalkova; Senator Alexei Kondratyev; Chairman of the International Public Tribunal, Maxim Grigoryev; Heroes of Russia; as well as participants in the liberation of the Kursk region. A video address to those gathered was sent by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, who highly appreciated the significance of the film for preserving historical truth.

Speakers noted that both films not only demonstrate the high level of military brotherhood between Russia and the DPRK but also reveal the ideological basis of the heroism of Korean warriors, raised on the ideas of Juche and Songun. They emphasized the importance of preserving the memory of the joint struggle against global neo-Nazism and the international duty that the soldiers of the Korean People's Army fulfilled with honor.

Comrade Alexander Mostov, for his part, noted that the work on translating the Korean film was his personal contribution to spreading the truth about the feat of the Korean allies. "We must convey to every Russian citizen the price at which freedom was achieved and the role our Korean brothers played in this," he stated.

The screening of the two films at the Victory Museum became a significant event in the cultural life of the capital and yet another testament to the unbreakable friendship and military brotherhood of the peoples of Russia and the DPRK, sealed with blood in the struggle against a common enemy.
