A working meeting took place at the “Koryo” restaurant between Comrade Alexander Andreyevich Mostov, Director of the 4th Administrative Department of the Central Committee of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG), and representatives of the Ukrainian party “Derzhava” – its head Dmitry Andreyevich Vasilets and deputy Viktor Vasilyevich Malafeyev.

During the meeting, the Ukrainian comrades handed over a petition addressed to Comrade Zheng Yutong, President of the DPRK International Solidarity Group.

The document states that on May 1, 2026, comrades from the “Derzhava” party established a Preparatory Committee for the restoration of Ukrainian solidarity with the DPRK. The committee includes Dmitry Vasilets, Maxim Shalaev, Alexander Semchenko, Alexander Galitsky, Viktor Malafeyev, Pavel Onishchenko, Valery Gavrilyuk, as well as political prisoners brothers Alexander and Mikhail Kononovich.

Comrade Dmitry Vasilets was appointed head of the committee.

The Ukrainian comrades, operating under severe pressure from the Kiev regime, expressed their firm intention to contribute to the development of the international solidarity movement with the DPRK. The petition contains a proposal to admit the Preparatory Committee into the DPRK ISG, to form a Ukrainian Executive Committee on its basis, and to restore, under its leadership, the Ukrainian Solidarity Group with the DPRK as a structural unit of the Group.

Comrade Alexander Mostov, accepting the petition, highly appreciated the steadfastness and loyalty to the ideals of internationalism demonstrated by the Ukrainian comrades, who, despite repression by the neo‑Nazi regime in Kiev, continue the struggle for truth and friendship among peoples. He assured that the proposals will be examined by the leadership of the DPRK ISG in the shortest possible time.

The participants of the meeting took a commemorative photograph, agreeing on further steps to restore the Ukrainian Solidarity Group with the DPRK.
