On July 22, participants in the 2nd International Congress of Solidarity, timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Korean War, visited the DPRK Embassy in Germany.

The participants of the Congress were warmly welcomed by the corresponding employee of the Embassy of the DPRK.

On behalf of the International Congress of Solidarity, the activists of the DPRK ISG in Germany sent a basket of flowers to the statues of the great Great Leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The delegates watched a documentary film about the Museum of Victory. The representative of the Embassy spoke in detail about the history of the Fatherland Liberation War and the great Victory achieved by the unsurpassed leadership of Commander Kim Il Sung.

Johannes Wittmund, Head of the German Executive Committee, delivered a report on the work of the DPRK International Solidarity Group.

Comrade Wittmund conveyed to the audience the message of Alexander Mostov, Leader of the DPRK ISG, and also highlighted the most significant successes and positive trends of our organization, indicating a systematic increase in the number of activists in Germany and other countries of the European Union. The report mentions the appointment of a Regional Secretary in Hungary and highlights the role of individual activists.

An Embassy spokesman reported on the current situation on the Korean Peninsula: the United States has deployed nuclear-armed submarines in South Korea, thereby heightening regional tensions to the limit.

As part of the discussion on the information war of the 21st century, the activists specifically discussed the problem of positive propaganda for the DPRK. Organizational conclusions are made.

As a result of the final sixth day of the Congress, a decision was made to reorganize the German Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG into the European Executive Committee.
