   June 24, Moscow (RSTV)

Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG, Representative of the DPRK ISG in the Special Military Operation Zone in Ukraine, issued a press statement in connection with an attempted military mutiny in Russia.

The full text of the statement follows.

Late at night I returned from a business trip to the Chechen Republic. When I got off the plane, I immediately learned about the situation in Russia and gave appropriate instructions to the head of the Russian executive committee so that we would be ready for any development of events.

Must declare the following:

Firstly, the DPRK International Solidarity Group, its Russian Executive Committee and all related media resources continue to operate on the territory of the Russian Federation in strict accordance with its legislation. As for the Executive Committees in China, Germany, Belarus and Tajikistan, the events in Russia cannot affect them in any way due to the thoughtful organizational structure of the Group.

Secondly, the DPRK ISG will continue to work as before, but recommends that senior officials and activists immediately evacuate the counter-terrorist operation zone after the publication of this statement.

Thirdly, with regard to the internal situation in Russia, we, of course, cannot comment on it in any way as an organization of people's diplomacy. But I must call on all the activists and friends of our Group not to fall for any provocations, for informational stuffing of enemies and pro-US elements trying to take advantage of the current difficult situation.

I am convinced that history will soon put everything in its place.
