A national meeting took place at the People's Palace of Culture on Friday to mark the 3rd anniversary of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's election as chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

It was attended by Choe Ryong Hae, Pak Pong Ju, Kim Jae Ryong and senior officials of the Party and the government, officials of the Party Central Committee and leading officials of armed forces organs and officials of the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, servicepersons of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, officials and persons of distinguished services of institutions, factories and enterprises in Pyongyang.

Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, made a report.

Kim Jong Un's election as chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK at the 4th Session of the 13th Supreme People's Assembly on June 29, Juche 105 (2016) was a political event of great historical significance in the building of the socialist state of Juche, the reporter pointed out.

The past three years were the days in which the world has witnessed the outstanding leadership and the great personality of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, who won a series of miraculous victories with his extraordinary wisdom and experienced and seasoned politics, the reporter noted, and went on:

The Supreme Leader has put the national power and position of the country on the highest level with his boundless loyalty to the revolution, unshakable faith and strong executive faculty despite the tempest of history.

The rare commanding art of the Supreme Leader added momentum to the implementation of the line of making the People's Army politically, ideologically and morally stronger and turned the People's Army into the Party's revolutionary army boundlessly loyal to the leadership of the Party and the matchless army with ever-victorious strategy and tactics and perfect capability for fighting an actual war. And the country's defense industry has developed into the development-and-creation-oriented self-supporting and modern industry of the revolution, which can manufacture any cutting-edge arms and equipment.

The Supreme Leader provided the strongest war deterrent amid the death-defying confrontation with imperialism. This is the greatest feat of the Supreme Leader for the country and the people, and this brilliant victory enabled the Korean people to lead a dignified and happy life under the ever-blue sky.

Inexhaustible is the national power of Juche Korea regarding self-reliance as the foundation of its existence and motive power of its development and no force on earth can either change the path of the DPRK or stifle it.

His firm faith of independence, strategic decision and proactive external activities brought about the great June 12 event and re-establish the relations between the DPRK and big powers, which leads to a visualization of a new horizon for defending global peace and security and building a righteous international society.

The DPRK government will accomplish the historical cause of national reunification without fail and work hard to develop the ties of friendship and cooperation with all the countries that respect the DPRK's sovereignty and are friendly to it.

The reporter stressed that only victory and glory are in store for Juche Korea as it has Kim Jong Un at the top post of the DPRK, and the 21st century will shine as the century of overall victory of the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.
