The international scientific symposium on the 9th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, "The Ideas of Comrade Kim Jong Un and Socialism in the 21st Century," took place in Russia on the 14th.

Present there were the head and members of the DPRK International Solidarity Group, personalities from the Russia Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, the Academy of Sciences, and the International Association of Peace Foundation.

Speeches were delivered at the symposium.

Speakers warmly praised the immortal exploits of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un accumulated in the fulfillment of the socialist cause and the development of DPRK-Russia friendly relations, and explained the historic significance of the 9th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The chairman of the Russia Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK congratulated the successful progress of the 9th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and expressed the will to actively strive for the development of friendly relations between the two countries in the future as well.

The president of the International Association of Peace Foundation said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un being once again held in high esteem as General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea is an eruption of the absolute trust and boundless yearning of all the Korean people for him.

Korea is a paragon of internationalism, and we will never forget the heroic feats of the soldiers of the Korean People's Army who liberated the Kursk region, he noted.

The director of the Administrative Department of the DPRK International Solidarity Group remarked as follows.

Under the mature and seasoned leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un, Korea is achieving brilliant development in all fields including politics, economy, military, and culture.

Thanks to the direct attention of Comrade Kim Jong Un, the traditional DPRK-Russia friendly relations have developed rapidly.

We are pleased that Korea is exerting great influence on the international arena.

Personages from the Russian Academy of Sciences said that the 9th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea demonstrated the true picture of Korea advancing vigorously along the path of socialism. They noted that the Congress is a historic milestone that opened up a new era of development for Korean-style socialist construction, and the decisions adopted at the Party Congress serve as a decisive guarantee for national rejuvenation.

They praised that Korea under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un possesses formidable national power that no one can dare to provoke, and that Korea is the only country in the world that lives independently without relying on or being subordinate to others.

They stressed that the operation to liberate the Kursk region confirmed who is the true friend and ally of Russia, and that the strategic partnership between the two countries greatly contributes to the building of a multipolar world and to ensuring regional peace and security.
