The Sunchon Cement Complex is recording an average daily output of 103 percent.

The complex has opened up the prospect for increased production by accelerating the reconstruction and modernization of the fireproof material production process and producing hundreds of thousands of high‑heat‑resistant, high‑fire‑resistant firebricks.

The technical group of the complex has renewed the performance of the CNC plasma cutter with its own efforts and technology, thus raising the precision of pipe fittings processing while saving a lot of labour and materials, and established the process for producing steel balls using high‑carbon ferrochrome, thereby increasing the capacity of the clinker grinder and raising productivity.

Workers and technicians, breaking away from the conventional concept, completed the replacement of the No. 3 kiln body, which used to take over a week in the past, in a short period of only two days with an efficient working method.

Amid the mass technological innovation movement, self‑reliant assets for ensuring the normal operation of equipment and for increasing cement production have been created, and the major overhaul of the No. 3 cement production line was finished in only eight days.

The production results are continuously expanding thanks to the indomitable spiritual strength and tenacious struggle of the working class of the complex.

Combined Music and Dance Performance by the Ensemble of the Ministry of National Defence Given

A combined music and dance performance by the Ensemble of the Ministry of National Defence to mark the 94th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army was held at the Ponghwa Art Theatre on April 25.

Watching the performance were Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea Kim Sung Du, service personnel of the People’s Army, teaching staff and students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Chilgol Revolutionary School, and Pyongyang citizens.

The performance began with the solemn rendition of the national anthem of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Put on the stage were various numbers including the songs of the anti‑Japanese partisans that recollect the bloody traces of the revolutionary forebears who, faithfully upholding the ideas and leadership of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, held high the banner of independence and crushed the Japanese imperialists, and the memories of the everlasting history of the anti‑Japanese struggle, as well as the revolutionary army songs that resounded high at every forefront of defence of the fatherland.

The pieces, in which the pride of all the service personnel of the People’s Army and the people who carry forward the proud history and traditions of the Korean revolution, adorned with victory and glory, through years and centuries, faithfully and single‑heartedly upholding the ideas and leadership of the great Party Central Committee, became lyrics and melodies, were continuously echoed on the stage.

Listening to the songs filled with the revolutionary mettle and militant spirit of the service personnel of the People’s Army who reliably safeguard the peace of the homeland and the people at posts in the sky, the land and the sea, the spectators reaffirmed the conviction that the future of our homeland will be infinitely bright and hopeful as there is the revolutionary strong army loyal to the leadership of the Party.

The performance, which well showed the unshakable faith and will of all the service personnel of the People’s Army and the people to steadily carry forward the sacred Juche revolutionary cause pioneered on Mt. Dance Party of Pyongyang Youth and Students Held

A dance party of Pyongyang youth and students to mark the 94th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army was held in front of the Pyongyang Acrobatic Theatre on April 25.

The dance party began as the revolutionary song “Guerrilla March” resounded.

The youth and students unfolded a sea of celebration dance, paying the highest respect and eternal glory to the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung who, holding high the banner of independence, founded the first revolutionary armed force of the Juche type and accomplished the historic cause of national liberation, braving the biting winds of Mt. Youth University Students of South Hamgyong Province Tour the Yonggwang County Revolutionary Battle Site

On the occasion of the 94th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army, youth university students of South Hamgyong Province, including those from Hamhung University of Chemical Industry, Hamhung University of Hydraulic Power, Hamhung University of Medicine and Choe Hui Suk Hamhung Teachers’ University, toured the Yonggwang County Revolutionary Battle Site.

Embedded in the Yonggwang County Revolutionary Battle Site are the immortal exploits of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung who, while organizing and guiding the activities of small units, teams and political operatives of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army in September 1937, aroused the people to the all‑people resistance for the liberation of the homeland.

Looking around the Sampat Mountain Meeting Place where the Great Leader made the historic speech “To Further Enhance the Revolutionary Struggle at Home” before the political operatives of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army and the heads of underground revolutionary organizations, the youth university students keenly realized that the revolutionary traditions created during the anti‑Japanese armed struggle are the strong roots of our revolution.

They also looked round the encampment site, spring and cooking site, where the scent of the revolutionary forebears who held the Great Leader in high esteem as the centre of unity and the centre of leadership and overcame all difficulties with firm conviction in revolutionary victory and the spirit of optimism is alive.
