Joint Seminar Held and Statement Adopted in Russia

A joint seminar of political parties and organizations of Russia on the theme of "Strategic strengthening of the Russia-DPRK relations" took place on April 25 on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's historic visit to the Russian Federation.

Present there were personages of government, political parties, organizations and organs including the State Duma, the Foreign Ministry, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Korean War Veterans' Council, the Society for the Study of the Juche Idea and the chief of the DPRK International Solidarity Group.

The secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation who is heading the Russia-DPRK Friendship Parliamentary Group of the State Duma presided over the seminar where a report and speeches were made.

A reporter and speakers praised the experienced and tested leadership ability of Kim Jong Un who firmly defended the dignity of the country and people and put the DPRK-Russia relations on a new high stage with his independent politics.

Referring to the great significance of Kim Jong Un's visit to Russia and the DPRK-Russia summit, they called for strengthening strategic communications and tactical cooperation between the two countries.

A statement was adopted at the seminar.

The statement said that Russia and the DPRK have boosted strategic cooperation and concerted action in all fields including politics, economy and culture for the past four years, adding that the two countries have enforced their independent domestic and foreign policies, while carrying out the common plan despite all moves of the imperialists.

The statement called on the two countries to boost the good neighborly relations and full mutual support for foreign policies and further develop bilateral cooperation.
