The Second Conference of the International Association of Peace Foundation (IAPF) was held in Moscow on the 23rd.

At the conference, Comrade Sergei Nikolayevich Baburin was elected as chairman and Comrade Laura Luisovna Escamilla Vega as secretary.

The conference heard the work reports of the President, the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of the IAPF.

Also, the application for membership of the Serbian Peace Foundation was reviewed and unanimously admitted as a new member of the IAPF.

The conference set the “Bridge of Civilizations” programme as a priority task for the future and, as one of the important measures for its realization, decided to establish an International Centre for Peacekeeping and Humanitarian Cooperation in Moscow.
