DPRK Embassy in Moscow Gives Reception

The DPRK embassy in Moscow gave a reception on October 11 to mark the 74th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the DPRK and the Russian Federation.

Invited there were the minister of Natural Resources and Ecology and concurrently the chairman of the Russian side of the DPRK-Russia Intergovernmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology, and personages of the government, political parties, organizations and institutions of Russia including the Federation Council of Russia, the State Duma, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Public Health, the Party for Peace and Unity, the Orchestra of the 21st Century, the Center for Energy and Security Studies, the Academy of Sciences, the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK and the Korean War Veterans' Council.

The DPRK ambassador to Russia and his embassy members were present there.

The participants laid bunches of flowers before an art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il standing together and paid tribute to it.

They looked round pictures dealing with immortal feats the President, the Chairman and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un performed in the development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations.

Speeches were made there.

The participants prayed for immortality of the President and the Chairman.
