Expansion of Achievements in Construction of City and County Hospitals and Comprehensive Service Centers by People's Army Soldiers Dispatched to Various Places

In accordance with the far‑reaching plan of our Party to ensure the rights, interests and health promotion of the people and to build a brighter and more prosperous future, the construction of 20 city and county hospitals and comprehensive service centers, the targets of this year's regional development policy, is being pushed forward dynamically.

The soldier‑builders of the Korean People's Army 124th Regiments and units at all levels participating in the construction are struggling with ever greater vigour, determined to fully display the indomitable revolutionary spirit and creative traits peculiar to our army in the construction projects they are undertaking, upholding the noble intention of the great Party Central Committee that has put the absolute people‑oriented principle as the lifeblood of the policy.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said as follows:

“The People's Army should continue to display the might of the main force and shock brigade in building a socialist power.”

According to the data compiled by the Regional Development 20×10 Non‑permanent Ministry of National Defence Guidance Command, the framework construction of the hospitals newly rising in 20 cities and counties has surpassed the 80% mark.

Meanwhile, the number of areas where the framework construction of the comprehensive service centers being modernly built this year has been completed, including Sonchon County, Taean District and Unryul County, is continuously increasing.

In the construction of 20 city and county hospitals, the officers and men of the Korean People's Army 124th Regiments dispatched to Kangnam County and Songhwa County are taking the lead.

The construction of functional buildings such as hospitals, which requires tens of times more labour than the construction of dwelling houses or industrial buildings, is a difficult project that demands high technology at every step of the construction process.

However, the soldiers of the Korean People's Army 124th Regiment in charge of the construction of the Kangnam County Hospital are further exerting the indomitable spiritual strength and the mighty creative power cultivated under the care of the great commander, and are continuously expanding construction achievements while actively conducting campaigns among sub‑units to overtake and learn from each other and exchange experience, full of enthusiasm to proudly erect the creation that symbolizes the new era of regional development.

They have been recording high results in framework construction day after day by renewing the existing construction methods and standards, shortening the execution time of all processes including reinforcing steel processing, strictly complying with the design requirements, and carrying out the supply of mixtures and the assembly of forms in a mobile way.

The soldiers of the Korean People's Army 124th Regiment in charge of the construction of the Songhwa County Hospital successfully completed vast foundation work and simultaneously pushed ahead with technical preparations, demonstration projects and the securing of blocks, forms and aggregates in a three‑dimensional way, thus making it possible to propel the next stage of the construction vigorously. In particular, the regiment normalised on‑site technical study every day so that the soldier‑builders would be well aware of the construction regulations and the requirements of the construction methods and observe them precisely. At the same time, it generalized the valuable technical innovation proposals devised among the officers and men through various occasions including experience presentations, thereby ensuring that the quality was thoroughly guaranteed in the framework construction.

The officers and men of the Korean People's Army 124th Regiments dispatched to Sonchon County, the Sinuiju Greenhouse Complex area, Taean District and other parts of the country are also flying high the regiment flags laden with the generous trust of the Party Central Committee, and are excellently performing the honourable duty as pioneers of changes and guardians of happiness for the homeland and the people in the construction of city and county hospitals.

The revolutionary creative traits and the thorough spirit of execution of the People's Army soldiers, who are fulfilling their assigned responsibility and duty at the vanguard of the regional development revolution with a sacred mission of the times and burning passion, are also being highly demonstrated at the construction sites of the 20 city and county comprehensive service centers.

The soldier‑builders of the Korean People's Army units at all levels dispatched to Sonchon County, Taean District and Phanmun District, aware that they are the creators of material wealth for the people and pioneers of a new civilized era, have successfully completed the framework construction of their respective construction projects by carrying out all work in a responsible manner in conformity with the technical regulations and the requirements of the construction methods.

The officers and men of the Korean People's Army units at all levels participating in the construction of comprehensive service centers in Unryul, Sinhung, Kangnam, Songhwa and Musan counties rationally arranged the construction machinery and equipment and closely linked all processes, thus completing the framework construction without fail.

The People's Army soldiers in charge of the construction of comprehensive service centers in Pongsan County and other areas are also powerfully carrying out the framework construction, holding high the pride of opening the new era of regional transformation at the vanguard while faithfully upholding the will of our Party that takes the people‑first principle as its political ideal.

The commanders of units at all levels are clearly setting the construction goals for each stage and are actively striving to uphold our Party's regional development policy with perfect practice, focusing on raising the technical skill levels of the soldier‑builders through the operation of practical drill grounds and experience presentations.

Thanks to the devoted struggle of the soldier‑builders who are burning the flame of creating new construction myths, redoubling their will to repay with death‑defying practice the heaven‑like trust of the great Party Central Committee that has entrusted the People's Army with the sacred and rewarding important task of erecting creations that will contribute to the prosperity of the homeland and the happiness of the people, the construction of the 20 city and county hospitals and comprehensive service centers planned for this year is being vigorously pushed forward according to the timetable set by the Party.
