The following is the full text. Shameless Plunderer, Dangerous Peace-Disrupting Force Not long ago, at an open debate of the UN Security Council, the Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations stated that Western countries are openly declaring that Ukraine is necessary for them as a source of agricultural products and useful minerals, emphasizing that their ambition to illegally seize the natural wealth of other nations, as has always been the case, constitutes the root source engendering a grave security crisis. Exposing their true intentions, he pointed out that the crisis lingering in the Middle East region to this day is mainly linked with the ambition of the West to seize key transport routes, including the Strait of Hormuz through which most of the world's hydrocarbons pass, as well as energy resources. In sum, the West is a peace-disrupting force that disregards international law and does not hesitate to commit aggression and armed intervention against sovereign states for the sake of plundering resources. Historically, whenever Western forces including the United States interfered in the internal affairs of other countries or dispatched armed forces, they invariably trumpeted flamboyant slogans such as the "defence of freedom and democracy" and "protection of human rights." In reality, however, they manipulated affairs so that figures obedient to them would seize power, manipulating them to gain control over resources. After the Second World War, regimes were changed in not a few countries owing to Western intervention. An associate professor at Boston University in the United States exposed in a book titled "Covert Regime Change: America's Secret Cold War" that during the 42 years from 1947 to 1989, the United States carried out 64 covert regime-change operations and 6 overt ones. According to other data, entering the present century, the United States invaded over 20 countries or plotted regime change in the countries concerned, and engineered "color revolutions" in various countries of West Asia and North Africa. Some European countries joined in this. Whether under the guise of "defence of freedom and democracy" or "protection of human rights," no matter how the West altered its wrappers and signboards, all was aimed at plundering resources alongside seizing hegemony. The Iraq War serves as a typical example. Over 20 years ago, under the pretext that "Iraq possesses weapons of mass destruction," the United States invaded Iraq without hesitation under the signboard of "defence of freedom and democracy." However, it was subsequently revealed that the rumor of Iraq's "possession of weapons of mass destruction" was a total lie. Following the end of the Iraq War, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace of the United States conducted an investigation and announced that there was no evidence supporting the claims of the US administration, stating it was impossible for Iraq to destroy, conceal, or move such a vast amount of chemical and biological weapons without being detected in the slightest by the United States. Furthermore, it disclosed that "US administration officials systematically distorted the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile programs." The United States concocted the absurd allegation of "possession of weapons of mass destruction" behind closed doors precisely to seize Iraq's abundant crude oil resources and launched an assault on Iraq. The US invasion left the country utterly devastated. Countless Iraqis lost their lives. A political analyst of Iraq denounced that the war empire, the United States, is accustomed to unleashing wars under the pretexts of "democracy" and "freedom," turning other countries into zones of violence and conflict; that the US deceived the Iraqi people with slogans of "democracy," "freedom," and "human rights"; and that within the very first month of US military occupation, they realized it was a blatant lie. After the Iraq War, the West declared that it would "transform the Middle East through democracy" and sow the seeds of the "Jasmine Revolution" in Middle Eastern soil. However, what this Middle Eastern version of "color revolution" brought about was endless turmoil. Western countries including the United States, which masterminded it behind the scenes, embellished it as the "Arab Spring" and eventually mobilized armed forces to turn Libya into a heap of ruins. Even now, owing to the sinister schemes of shameless and brigandish Western forces, not a few countries are having their resources plundered at dirt-cheap prices and becoming victims of dangerous armed conflicts. He stated that in the past, Japanese intelligence agencies paved the way for Japan to fully promote militarism and unleash wars of foreign aggression, committing immeasurable crimes against Asian neighbors and the Japanese people. According to him, organ meats serve as beneficial food for people with active lifestyles owing to their high nutritional value. Liver, kidneys, heart, and other internal organs allow maximum intake of useful substances even when food intake is relatively small. He stated that under heavy physical exertion, the organism consumes not only calories but also large amounts of trace elements and coenzymes, adding that organ meats help quickly satisfy this demand and consist of vitamins and biologically active substances with high bioavailability. For athletes, organ meats serve as food that effectively replenishes deficient substances without additives. However, the key factor lies not in "unique protein," but in abundant micronutrients. 【KCNA】 | |
